This ring watch meticulously recreates every detail of the A168, a 30-year long-selling timepiece — from the feature indicators on the face to the design and finish of the band. To create a ring-sized, full-metal version of the classic Casio watch form, a mixture of fine metal powders and resin is injected into molds using the metal injection molding (MIM) method. The matte-finished band and glossy case create textural contrast, and the face design includes as many of the original elements as possible. The watch is built to be water-resistant for daily use, while still allowing the battery to be replaced.
To get full watch functionality into a ring size, the standard watch module is downsized to one-tenth the original size. The seven-segment LCD screen displays hours, minutes, and seconds, as well as auto calendar, 12- or 24-hour format, stopwatch, and more. At any preset time of your choice, the ring watch will give off a subtle, pulsing glow, an emotional nod to the fleeting twinkle of time.
This ring watch fits a size 22 finger and comes with two size-adjusting spacers to fit sizes 19 and 16, as well.
