The OCEANUS Manta line pursues high-quality finishes and a sleek, beautiful form. The OCW-S7000CN-1A is a model that beautifully combines OCEANUS's proud craftsmanship with traditional Japanese techniques. It features a sapphire glass bezel with beautifully cut lines, each one handcrafted by Edo Kiriko artisans. The design theme is "CALM NIGHT." The all-black titanium exterior and Edo Kiriko sapphire glass bezel evoke the image of a moonlit night sea. The uniformly cut lines in width and depth on the hard sapphire glass create a sparkle and sharp beauty that can only be expressed with Edo Kiriko. The silver and black gradation creates depth and brilliance, expressing the seemingly endless vastness of the ocean. The blue color polarizes depending on the light, evoking the real ocean. The textured dial is inspired by the unevenness and shadows of the moon's surface. Its matte finish captures the delicate and elegant expression of the lunar surface. [Third Generation Hideishi Toru Horiguchi] Born in Tokyo in 1976. With his grandfather being an Edo Kiriko craftsman, he studied Edo Kiriko under the second generation Hideishi (Suda Tomio, Koto Ward Intangible Cultural Property). In 2008, he founded Horiguchi Kiriko Co., Ltd. as the third generation Hideishi. He is certified as a Japanese traditional craftsman (Edo Kiriko). He believes in creating innovative and contemporary products while inheriting traditional methods and styles.
