This collaboration model is based on the GBM2100, with bold metal bezel, solar charging, and Bluetooth® connectivity. Touches of red - a G-SHOCK brand color that also evokes Hachimura's passion for the game - are added to set off the gold color of the dial, which features a basketball-court motif. The black band highlights the watch face's powerful impact and pulls the design together for a timepiece that projects focus and strength.
Hachimura's original logo featuring the symbol 八 (hachi in Japanese, meaning "eight") is engraved on the case back, and the side button at the 8 o'clock position is laser engraved with the hachi symbol, as well. These and other Hachimura-inspired symbols are sprinkled throughout the design, for a collaboration worthy of a true global basketball sensation.
